External Switch always degrades my host network connectivity

I have tried installing an External Switch on 3 different occasions, mostly because the Default Switch changes IP addresses every time I restart my host computer, otherwise I would be happy with the Default Switch. But when I install the External Switch, within an hour of installing it, my host computer's internet connectivity basically dies. I can do a few things, I seem to be able to stay in teams and communicate across that network, including talking on teams phone, but I can't even get to a simple google page on my browser. It will get there eventually, but it's slower than dial up speeds.

I've found an article that describes the problem but but so far nothing has helped. Here's one I tried following:

networking - Hyper-V External network switch kills my host's network performance - Super User

The minute I delete my external switch, my internet comes back.

Here are some screenshots of my environment

    I have tried several variations.
    1. Using the Default Switch, which is typically a /240 subnet, I assign IP addresses to my VMs inside of that range, which works perfectly, until my host reboots, then I have to start all over again. Every time it reboots, I have to reassign IP addresses to my VMs. I'd prefer avoiding this.
    2. I would simply choose an external switch and manually assign a network ID to all 3 of my vMs on my host's network, the 192.168.0.x network.
    3. The last thing I tried was installing a Gateway machine among my VMs with 2 NICs installed, so only the one server would try to use my host's IP address. I installed it as a Router and then assigned all my other VMs to use the private NIC on my "router" as its gateway and gave each of them local IPs to that "router" server. But the network issue described was just as bad in this configuration.

Note, the VMQ information from the link I gave above only works with specific nics. My nic is an Intel NIC and not applicable to the VMQ solution.

All of my VMs are running Server 2019, fully patched and my host is a Windows 10 Enterprise Dell Laptop with 32 gigs of RAM and runs quite well with this many hosts. IT is also fully patched.

Thanks in advance for suggestions and Ideas.

    Matt

External Switch always degrades my host network connectivity

Your Powershell screenshots do not show any external switches, they only show internal switches. Because of that, it is quite difficult, I would say impossible, to understand your issue.

@Martin, I do not recall having that kind of issue? My external switches are working absolutely perfectly.
