Windows 10: External usb adapter

So ive got this mobi lock external ethernet adapter no clue what model its a usb 2.0 adapter when i first plugged it into the windows 11 tower if worked fine then one day stopped now i have a ethernet port in the back of the tower and it works when i plug in the ethernet cord to the tower it works fine when i plug it into the usb adapter the adapter shows it fine it runs the red light is flashing showing it is sending internet but there is no internet and no its not the usb or the ethernet cord cause i use the adapter on my windows 11 laptop and it works fine . the tower recognises the adapter

Method 1: Network troubleshooting.

• On the search bar type “Troubleshooting”
• Click on “Network and Internet”
• Click on “Network Adapter” and run the troubleshooter.

Method 2: Download and install the latest firmware updates for the Wi-Fi adapter

Follow these steps to un-install the drivers:

• On the search bar type “ Device Manager”
• On the left pane locate “Network Adapter” and expand by clicking on it
• Right on the “ Wireless adapter” option and click “Uninstall’
• Download the latest Wireless network adapter driver setup file from the manufacturer’s website and install it.

Toshiba External USB drives not showing in Explorer or Disk Management Plug-in

Looks like your system is unable to detect your external hard drive. Let's see if scanning for new hardware will fix the issue. Follow these steps:

• Press the Windows key to launch the Start menu.
• Type in Device Manager and press Enter.
