    Hello,Windows 11 Pro x64, everything everywhere is up to date.I have a Seagate 2.5 inch HDD ST1000LM048, in an external USB 3.0 enclosure Toshiba, that uses an Innostor Technology USB/SATA storage controller.When plugged into a USB 3 port, the setup yields sequential read speeds that peak at just under 40 MB/s, which are are roughly 30% faster than what I get when plugged into a USB 2 port. Device Manager shows the following entries:1. Disk drives > Toshiba USB Device2. Universal Serial Bus controllers > USB Mass Storage Device HWID=USB\VID_1F75&PID_0621 this is the Innostor con

    Unknown USB Device (Link In Compliance Mode)

    I'm getting a UBS port error, over and over again, the sound of which drives me crazy. Device manager says "Unknown USB Device (Link In Compliance Mode)". There is nothing plugged into the USB port. Uninstall/reinstall doesn't work, deactivating it doesn't
    work, restarting doesn't work. Any ideas?

    I read through several other Q&A about this on the forums did not contain the solution.
