Windows 10: External USb Keyboard stop to work after sleep or replug in the USB port

Hello, I have on my Windows 10 Pro a wired USB keyboard Microsoft 600.I start the PC Asus VivoBook and all works fine.When I sleep the computer or unplug the keyboard, when I resume the computer or I try to insert the keyboard again, It's doesn't work anymore.I searched on Internet information some solution but at the moment the unique solution is restart the PC.In the Device Manager if found the Keyboard HID you will see the screenshot in Italian, sorry that is the respondable of this problem.I tried to update the driver but seem that is updated.I checked also the power options of HID Key

USB 2.0 Ports Stopped working

Hello,

I recently noticed my USB 2.0 ports have stopped working, but my USB 3.0 port is functioning perfectly.

Steps i have tried:

- Restarting

- Searching for device changes in Device manager

- running troubleshooter

all these suggested fixes didn't remedy the issue, its a bit of an inconvenience that i only have one functioning USB port

Windows 10 | External USB Keyboard not working after Hibernate

I'm using an Acer Laptop with Windows 10 v1909 (OS Build 18363.720). My issue is whenever I put my laptop in Hibernate, the external USB Keyboard (A4Tech) will stop working. The External USB Mouse works fine but not the keyboard and I can replicate this
issue every time I put the laptop on Hibernate. I have tried re-installing the USB port driver and Keyboard (HID Keyboard Device) driver and make sure the power management option "Allow this device to wake the computer" is ticked. This issue happens even if
I am using other USB ports. I have another identical laptop and this issue is not happening there. When restarting the PC or putting it on sleep, I cannot replicate the issue, it's just when I put it on Hibernate. Any other steps that you may recommend?

 

USB ports stopped working on Windows 7

Check the N97's USB cable for signs of damage at the USB end, and inspect USB ports on your mobo/case for signs of damage. Could be a short caused by damaged USB port. Gotta have good eyes when checking USB ports...

If you only installed the drivers for your N97 yesterday, there may be a conflict where the N97 driver installation came with some drivers that are conflicting with your USB drivers. Can you get a PS/2 keyboard? If there's no signs of damage to your cables/USB ports then the next step would be Device Manager.
