    Hi Microsoft Experts,I'm trying to record a podcast episode. I'm using the following devices and software:1. Lenovo Yoga Pro 7i laptop2. Samson Q2U Microphone plugged in via USB-A3. Audacity for audio editingWhen recording my voice with the Samson Mic plugged in via the USB-A post, the quality of the sound is like a telephone call. My voice is muffled as if it was nasal or as if I had a cold.When plugged in through a weird extension to the USB-C port, the quality of the voice is crisp and 'natural.'I've been trying to troubleshoot the issue and the advice I've got so far was to check the sam

    Did your USB voice recorder come with an instruction book, or can you ask the manufacturer for help?

    Nobody here can guess was USB voice recorder you bought or what 'will not play' means exactly.

    (And did you know that Windows 10 has a built-in voice recorder app? All you need to add is a microphone.)
