Thank you for your quick reply. Here's the info about my LG External rewriter: It is the GE24LU20 model known as LG External Super Multi DVD Rewriter manufactured in April 2011.

I have tried the Disk Management and It doesn't appear on it. I have copied the resulting screen for you.

Concerning the device manager it seems that there's no DVD/ CD-ROM drives.

I hope it will help you to solve my issue.

I have a detection issue with my LG External rewriter since I have installed windows 10. My laptop doesn't see it.

how do I get a dvd player to work on windows 10 ? I have a external LG Super Multi DVD rewiter model GP08LU10

My LG Super Multi DVD Rewriter Model GP08LU10 will not work on my windows 10 ? What do I have to do to make it work. So do I need a driver or software or whMy computer is fairly new but does not have an external drive cause its a slim version of a laptop.
Lenovo 100S. Can someone please help me. I want to see some movies and check on some existing files on a some CDs I have.

Why is this computer stuff so complicated for a normal individual to use. I am so over this tech crap. New Drivers needed etc. Please someone help me out.
