    Extra Monitor proportions

I have connected a second monitor to my laptop and the larger screen is displaying a smaller section than that of my laptop. Meaning that when I am in display settings, the 2 screen, the second monitor, is a quarter of the size of my 1 screen, aka my laptop. Can I fix this or is it a pixel display problem that can only be fixed by buying a newer monitor?

    :)

  3. Everything is out of proportion

I have the same problem, everything is short and fat. When I try to change resolution the only option given are: 1024x768 (recommended and 800x600. With Windows 8.1 I had a wide variety of resolutions and the recommended resolution was in proportion.

Unfortunately the suggested article doesn't help.

Restore window issue in Window 10 1903 when extra Monitor

    Hi,

Thank you for writing to Microsoft Community Forums.

To have a better clarity on the issue and guide you accordingly, kindly help us with the following information:

    • Is the issue specific to DBeaver or does it happen on all the applications?

The issue could probably be because of the secondary monitor not having its own taskbar. I suggest you to try the steps listed below and check if it works.

    • Right click the Taskbar on your primary monitor and choose Taskbar Settings.
    • Enable Show Taskbar on all the displays under
      Multiple Displays,
      and exit Settings.
    • Now, try restoring a minimized window to see if it works.

    Regards,
