Windows 10: Extra pointers

Is there any way I can change the appearance of cursors/pointers not listed in the Mouse Properties > Pointers?

such as the many you can set in css, like cell or resize-row.

Pointers

Points are simply a value (address) that "points" to a value. It has no extra information about what it is pointing to (hence the danger). When using arrays/indexers, the operating system knows this is a collection that is this long and is of this type. Any operation that steps outside of those constraints is caught and handled. On the other hand, if a pointer so much as points to the wrong address, all the values will subsequently be wrong.

Pointers are faster but more risky.

 

How do I make extra large black pointer my default on start up

Hi William, thanks for your question. I'm Graeme, a Microsoft Community expert and fellow user.

I'll give you the steps to change your pointer size and color:

- Click Start and type "mouse".

- Click Mouse Settings.

- Click Additional mouse options

- Click the Pointers tab.

- In the drop-down menu under Scheme, select Windows Black (extra large).

- Click OK.

Once you've followed these steps, your pointer should be black and extra large.

Open Control Panel > Mouse > Pointers

Click in the Scheme list box

Choose Windows Default extra large

Click Apply then OK
