Windows 10: Extreme Printer problems, not just a spoiler service thing

Hello,I am a long time Windows admin, so I know my way around. I have run into something that's just baffling to me. A windows 10 computer all of a sudden cannot print. The errors are various. Two networked printers used to work. Now, printing to one and nothing goes to the queue at all. The other one it goes to queue as spooling, sits for a minute, then disappears. When I right click that printer and try to go to properties, nothing happens. If I stop the print spooler service, the properties for that printer pop up. I try to print test page, and it says it can't since the spooler isn't runni

Method 2: If the issue persist please follow these steps and check the issue.

• Press Windows + R keys, type
  services.msc in run window and press Enter.
• In services, stop "Print Spooler" service.
  
• In Windows explorer, navigate to the following folder location and open "PRINTERS" folder.

C:\Windows\system32\spool\PRINTERS

• Click "Continue" or "Yes", if message prompts.
• Delete all files in "PRINTERS" folder and then close Windows explorer.
  

Note: Please do not delete "PRINTERS" folder. Only delete its contents.

• Open services, and start "Print Spooler" service

Printer offline problem persists

In order to help you better, could you please confirm a couple of things:

• Is it a wired or wireless printer?
• Is the printer connected via network to your computer?

I suggest you to follow the below methods and check if it helps.

Method 1: I suggest you to make printer as a default printer you can follow the below steps:

• Press Windows key+ X and select
  device manager.
• Select devices and printers
• Right click on the printer you want to use, and then click
  set as default printer (You'll see a check mark on the printer's icon signifying that it's now your default printer).

I suggest you to update the drivers for the printers and check if it helps.

Method 2: I also recommend you to run the print troubleshooter to check the issue.

• Type troubleshooter in the search box and then press enter.
• In the left pane click on View all.
• Select the printer option and
  follow the on screen instructions.

Method 3: Also I suggest you to run the troubleshooting steps and check if it helps.
