Windows 10: Extremely high ping on new PC

I recently got a new gaming PC after switching from a gaming laptop. I play Valorant, and I’ve been having really bad ping issues. My ping constantly spikes to 70-200ms, and other times stays at 200-5000ms plus. The only fix so far is restarting my PC, ping will stay stable for five to ten mins then go back to spiking or being extremely high. My PC specs are: Intel core i7 processor up to 4.0GHz, 32GB DDR4 RAM, 1TB SSD GeForce RTX 3060 12GB GDDR6 HDMI, Windows 10 Pro. I am connected to WiFi, not Ethernet. My old gaming laptop's specs were way worse but never had ping issues, and it was also co

Windows 10 High Ping on Games

Is it before the CSGO update or after. Lots of people are reporting this issue after the update. They are saying that the new update has messed up the routing or something. I would suggest to try connection optimizer like Kill Ping. It will bypass all the
nodes in between and directly connect you to game server.

But first do these steps given in the guide for CSGO

High ping

I was having an issue with high ping numbers with AT&T DSL. I was supposed to be getting up to 12Mbps, but wasn't getting anywhere near that consistently. Sometimes it would be less than 1Mbps, other times working within it's range. I switched to a new internet provider and the speedtests so far have been consistently what I should be getting for up and down speeds, but my ping is still in the 100ish range. My xbox is hard wired to my gateway, as is my PC. My xbox, however, showed a 97ish ping after running a speed test and the same with my phone. So I'm wondering if my high ping on my PC could be caused by an issue within my PC. I tried it both hard wired and wifi, only to get the same ping rate. I'm running Windows 10 on a lower end gaming pc.
