Windows 10: extremely slow wifi in normal mode, but fast wifi in Clean Boot mode

Hi all, As the title says, I have extremely slow Wi-Fi in normal mode, (3Mbps) so I performed a Clean Boot and now I have good Wi-Fi in Clean Boot mode (50Mbps). So the question is - how can I work out which program(s) is slowing my internet speed? I'm hoping there's a really cool diagnostic app to do so. I guess enabling one program at a time then restarting each time would work but I'm hoping that there is a better way. Your thoughts please guys. As always, appreciate your help.

WiFi faster in flight mode

I have had issues for several weeks whereby in normal mode my wireless on a Dell E7450 gives speeds of 200-300Kb/s (measured using fast.com) however if I switch on Flight Mode and activate WiFi I get 75Mb/s.

This is 100% repeatable across multiple access points.

I have tried switching off Bluetooth and running normally i.e. no in Flight Mode, the result is the same. I have deleted the WiFi drivers and reinstalled them yet the issue remains.

Any suggestions what may be causing this issue?

I am running Win10 1909 build 18363.752

 

Wifi Problem - Mobile becomes very slow

I have a brand new E71 with the latest firmware. Wifi connections are extremely slow. Browsing the web is impossible. I am using a wireless router which serves up to other Wifi equipment with super fast results. Using another Wifi compliant phone on
the same network, the results are fine. The E71 connectivity over Wifi is super, super, super SLOW.



Connections over 3G are fast (normal when compared to other 3G phones). Any suggestions?

 

Safe Mode with Networking - No network - No WiFi adapter...

I'm not sure what build they made the change in . I have tried every suggestion I found and nothing worked. When in Safe Mode my wireless network doesn't even show up so I can't choose it as a option.

Edit: I just tried booting into Safe Mode. The network icon had a X in it. When I clicked on it the only option was Airplane Mode.
