Windows 10: "F:\ is unavailable" message on my ESD-USB F: mass storage drive.

Hello, all. I have an ESD-USB F: mass storage drive 28.8 GB that has years and years of saved artwork and art references on it that I cannot access. When I plugged it into its usual drive slot today and clicked on one of the locations that showed up in Quick Access I use this drive a lot, an error message popped up reading the following:"F:/ is unavailable. If the location is on this PC, make sure the device or drive is connected or the disc is inserted, and then try again. if the location is on a network, make sure you're connected to the network or internet, and then try again. if the

Based on the information you have provided in your post; we need to do further investigation. To assist you better, we'd like to know the following:

• Have you tried using a third party software to manage the disk partition?
• Did you format the drive?

We suggest that you check for the drive in the Disk Management and look if it appears. Follow these steps:

• Log on as administrator or as a member of the Administrators group.
• Press Windows+R key and type diskmgmt.msc and then click OK.

Look if the Drive F: appears and check if it is unallocated.

I am experiencing another problem.

I was working on my computer, and a program froze for too long and I had to close it, but suddenly the desktop icons disappeared. Then I restarted my computer, and I noticed that my F drive is not available as this message reads:

"F:\ is unavailable. If the location is on this PC, make sure the device or drive is connected or the disc is inserted, and then try again. If the location is on a network, make sure you're connected to the network or Internet, and then try again. If the
location still can't be found, it might have been moved or deleted."

What should I do to gain access to my F drive?
