Face id saying it is currently unavailable. I tried trouble shooting nothing worked and updated computer and restarted it nothing has fixed the issue.

Hello Face Currently Unavailable

Hi,

I have recently updated my surface pro 7, My hello face sign in was working however occasionally wouldn't register, so I went back into the settings and tried to enhance the facial recongintion as suggested by redoing the face scan. This failed as it was
saying for me to position my face in the centre of the frame and hold still however never manaed to register my face.

I then decided to remove the face sign in and redo from the start. As soon as I pressed remove it became unavailable.

I have searched for updates which I am fully up to date with.

how to fix the trouble shooting error and install the missing webcam

 

My Line in microphone is currently unavailable.

My headphones are working just fine, but the microphone on my headset is no longer working since I've upgraded to Windows 10, my microphone worked perfectly fine before I upgraded, now it keeps using my webcam and I can't use my headset's microphone. So
when I go to enable it, it just says line in is unavailable. I updated the drivers and I've tried all the other trouble shooting options, none of these are helping me.
