Windows 10: Facebook calls on browser filters audio or almost mutes it

whenever i go on a call on messenger the audio from other applications gets muted or muffled only words can be heard , music is muffled or filtered out i have tried the sound settings option and nothing changed i also tried the playback>advanced>exlusive mode unchecked and nothing seems to changethanks in advance

Hi all,

I have a problem with my WH100XM3 bluetooth headphones - all audio stops upon entering a skype / facebook / any typeof call. I've tried scanning my system files, disabling all audio devices other than my headphones and making sure that audio isn't muted
upon windows detecting a call - nothing works. To clarify, the call also has no audio volume (in addition to background music) I cannot hear anything at all.

Hello is there a way to filter my facebook friends?

i want the people hub to connect to facebook but only to the frriends that i choose, i dont want my whole 400+ list!

the only help i´ve seen so far about filtering involves not connecting facebook at all

windows 10 facebook messenger no audio on voice call

several months ago I got a call through facebook messenger on my windows 10 laptop (using google chrome) and everything worked fine. Made few more calls after that and everything worked and audio was very clear on my external speakers.

A week ago I got a call from the same facebook user and he could hear me but I could NOT hear any audio. I could see that the call was connected as the seconds ticked by. I tried muting and unmuting the microphone, didnt help. I even went on to my windows
settings/privacy/microphone and turned on the microphone for messenger and also rebooted my PC and also signed out of facebook and signed back in. I tried at least 10 calls outgoing and incoming from 2 different people and only twice I heard audio for a split
second.

Any help would be appreciated.
