    facing "Class not register" error on Windows 11


    I am a Windows 11 user and I am getting an error when I try to open certain apps, and documents. The error message displays "class not register". I am also not able to open settings, start menu, search bar and some other important features. I tried to reset my windows using troubleshoot menu which appeared while restarting the windows, but just after 4% of the process, it started to undo changes and the windows wasn't reset. I can still manage to use cmd as an administrator by opening it through task manager, and I already tried using DISM tool commands, but it ends with another error code.

    I ran the scan as suggested. No errors were found. I continue to receive the "class not registered" error when I try to open a JPEG file.
