Windows 10: Facing error in Devices & Drivers and Windows Update !

After reading some articles and some suggestions I got to know that you should install driver updates from a trusted application, and it will be beneficial for your pc. I installed driver booster 9 after reading the review and confirming its legibility, the updates went well but after some days automatically my touchpad and keyboard started to stop working randomly anytime and some issues started occurring in windows update with error code 0x80070103. When I tried troubleshooting this info was provided by the troubleshooter. IsPostback_RC_PendingUpdates IsPostback: False InformationalWaaSM

Who has seen this vista update error

When you go to Windows vista update and it tell you to update a driver that you have already updated. Then it says failed to update and gives you the error code that tell you that you already have a never version than that. WTF? Why in the world would it be trying to updated something with an older driver. Well the only way to get it out of your windows update list is to go uninstall what ever that driver is then run the update and install it. Then run the newer drivers again.

Well I still can't get the Nivida Network Bridge to disappear out of the list. I uninstall the one in device manager and go to the update and before it's even done with that. Vista is automatically installing a newer version than is in the Vista update list.......

 

Unable to boot the device with error: 0xc0000428 on Windows 10

Do let us know the following to assist you better with this issue:

• What is the make and model of your device?
• What is the complete error message along with the error code of this issue?
• From when are you facing this issue?
• Have you make any hardware/ software changes to your device prior to this issue?

I would like to inform that when you attempt to start a Windows 10 system, the system fails to start normally and you receive an error:
0xc0000428 for the signed driver dlkmdldr.sys. Do confirm us if you are facing the same issue.

Try the below and check if it helps.

Step 1: I suggest you to remove all the external devices except mouse and keyboard, hard reboot the device and check if the issue persists.

Step 2: I suggest you to boot the device by choosing the "Disable Driver Signature Enforcement" mode from the advanced boot menu, you would be able to boot the system to the desktop.

• Try to boot the device to Windows Recovery Environment
• Click on Advanced options, Startup Settings
  and Restart.
• Once the computer restarts, press F7 key to start he device on
  Disable Driver Signature Enforcement mode.
• Check if the computer boot successfully.

Step 3: I suggest you to install the pending updates on your device after restarting the computer.

Steps:

• Connect to the internet.
• Press Windows key and type
  updates.
• Click on Check for updates.
• Under Windows Updates, click on
  Check for updates.
• Try to install the updates being shown.

Driver Missing after Windows Update

• Press Windows + X, click on Programs and Features.
• Click on View installed updates from the left pane.

Try the below troubleshooting steps and check if it helps.

Step 1: I suggest you to check with the device status for drivers with yellow exclamation point in Device Manager.

1. Press
Windows + X keys from the keyboard, click on Device Manager.

2. Expand
DVD/CD ROM drives, right click on the driver.

3. Click on Properties
and check the device status.

Step 2: I suggest you to check for the error codes for the drivers from the below Microsoft article, try the troubleshooting steps mentioned and check if it helps.

Step 3: I suggest you to run
Hardware and Devices troubleshooter
as it checks for common problems and makes sure that any new device or hardware connected to your PC is installed correctly.

• Press Windows key from the keyboard, type
  Troubleshooting and select it.
• Click on view all option on the upper left corner of
  Troubleshooting window.
• Select the Hardware and Device options from the list.
  
• Click Next to run the Hardware and Device
  Troubleshooter.
