Windows 10: Facing Problem with connecting Ethernet

I am facing problem with connecting my ethernet cable. My cable is fine , I have tested it with other computer. But every time I am connecting , It shows no result. I have followed some youtube video, but according to their description, my setting was okay. I would be very relaxed if someone solve this problem.

2. Were there any changes made on to the computer?

I would suggest a few steps regarding the Ethernet connectivity issues. Kindly follow the below.

Method 1: Maybe the Ethernet controller is getting shut off during sleep

Go to Control Panel > Device Manager> Right click your Ethernet controller > Properties.

Under the Power Management tab, there should be a checkbox that you can uncheck for "Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power".

Cell and Ethernet connection

   You may try the below suggested steps to fix the issue.
   
   
   

1. Click on Start, Type in Control Panel and look for Network & Sharing Center.
   
2. Click on ‘Change adapter settings’ on the left pane.
   
3. You will be able to see the list of networks available.
   
4. Click on Advanced menu and select ‘Advanced Settings’.
   
5. You will be able to see the different types of connections under advanced settings Window.
   
6. Select Ethernet and use the arrows at the right side in the current Window in order to reorder the connections.
   
7. Click on OK and check the status of the issue.

Ethernet connection issues

This issue might happen if the power saver option is set.

I suggest you to follow the below troubleshooting steps and check if it helps.

  Press Windows Key + X key and click on
  Device Manager.

  Expand Network Adapters.
  
• 
  Right-click on the Network Adapter listed and click on
  Properties.
  
• 
  Click on Power Management tab.
  
• 
  Uncheck the Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power box and click on
  Ok.
  
• 
  Restart the computer and check if the issue is resolved.
