    Hello,My notebook came with Windows 10 and Office Home and Student pre-installed.I was able to share my notebook screen to a projector. Then, I did auto updates. Windows 21H1did not update. 2021-11 Cumulative update for Windows 10 version 21H1 for x64-based systems KB5007186. I got a message, "We couldn't complete the updates. Undoing changes. Don't turn off your computer." Several other updates are also pending because of this. I started Windows Update Troubleshooter and Troubleshooter could not identify any problem.I did a hardware check using the assistant. All OK. In

    what happened to my program files after factory resetting

    Please also remove Windows.old file after reset your PC.

    Step 1: Click in Windows' search field, type Cleanup, then click Disk Cleanup.

    Step 2: Click the "Clean up system files" button.

    Step 3: Wait a bit while Windows scans for files, then scroll down the list until you see "Previous Windows installation(s)."

    Step 4: Check the box next to the entry, then make sure there are no other boxes checked (unless you do indeed want to delete those items). Click OK to start the cleanup.

    I'm going to reset my PC because I have corrupt audio drivers. Will the bootup times be the same if I chose to reset with my files instead of a factory reset? Will I remove potential viruses and such? What i'm trying to ask is what advantages do I get when factory reseting.
