Windows 10: FACTORY RESET ERRORS

I cannot restore my surface 3 to factory settings.


I have completed through every article possible and it cannot complete.


When I go through advanced startup and erase the disk it says 'unknown error occurred, no changes were made'.


When I try to do a clean installation of windows, it downloads windows 10 and then says 'error occurred, restart and install windows', I then restart my system and nothing changes.


I am extremely frustrated and just want to factory reset this.

• What troubleshooting steps have you tried so far?
• What build and version of Windows 10 are you using?

There shouldn't be an issue singing in to your computer after performing a factory reset. What's odd is that the error message "Your account has been disabled" is showing up. However, we suggest that you provide us a screenshot of the signing
in page with the said error message. It's for us to determine what would be the steps that we need to isolate your concern.
