Factory Reset on an OS upgraded from Win 10 Home to Pro

I'd like to factory reset my laptop, as i'm going to be selling it. The question i have is, when i factory reset the laptop using microsofts default method, will it revert back to Win10 Home? I upgraded my laptop to Pro online after i bought it from the factory with Home coming on it default.

    :)

How to factory reset Cisco 1700 Router

Hopefully I can help you here....its a very common thing to happen.

First, I take it you dont know the passwords for console access or telnet/ssh?

I will assume that these devices belong to you.

step 1. Plug a cisco console cable into a serial port on your pc
step 2. Plug other end into Cisco console port
step 3. Using hyperterm or putty or similar connect to the serial port
step 4. boot router, and make sure you clearly can see the output (this confirms you have good serial comms)
step 5. if this fails, adjust the comm port settings (9600, 8,1,n are the default)
step 6. now you have to do the only hard part...send the break command:

    Break command list: Break Commands

Go down the list and match your OS and SW and try the sequence suggested.

If this fails several times do what I do: Install putty (free) and then to send a break so you can get into rommom just hit "ctrl-a b".

Back to Win 10 after a factory reset to Win 8.1

I have a Lenovo Thinkpad Helix (2nd Gen) which I had ugraded from Win 8.1 to Win 10 sometime in mid-July (definitely before July 25). However, I problems with the touch-screen and touchpad cropped up. After much research and online discussion, I decided
to factory reset the device. While the great news is that the Helix is now working perfectly, the factory reset has taken me back to Win 8.1. Some of the people who helped with diagnosing and resolving the issue have suggested I keep (and work on) Win 8.1
for minimum of a fortnight (since the problems started within a fortnight of upgrading to Win 10).

However, I want to know if I can go back to Win 10 in the future, and if yes, is there a timeline within which I have to reinstall?? Also, I have a Win 10 installation (ISO) file, but the problem is that it is a Win 10 Home version, while the Helix was running
Win 10 Pro (and is now running Win 8.1 Pro). Can I download a similar ISO file (Pro version) from the Microsft website (link please)??

SURFACE PRO 3 RESET TO FACTORY DEFAULTS PROBLEM

The camera caused a system freeze every time it was activated so I thought why not restore.

    • I attempted to reset my Surface Pro 3 to Factory defaults.
    • The Surface Pro made it to 1% then crashed.
    • Now it is in a reboot loop.

I have tried several times and now it gives an "Unable to reset your PC. A required drive partition is missing" error.

Do you have any suggestions on how to make it work again?
