Windows 10: Factory reset Windows 11 24H2 build 26100.863

I'm currently running Windows 11 version 24H2 build 26100.863 and I'm considering performing a factory reset on my device.Is there anything specific I need to be aware of before performing a reset on this particular build version? Are there any known issues or bugs I should be cautious of?Any advice on the best way to perform a factory reset on Windows 11 24H2 build 26100.863 would be greatly appreciated.

Windows 11 24H2 build hints 22641 expected to release until late 2024. Microsoft has not announced yet about Windows 11 24H2 Build 22641 release.

 

Will 24H2 Only Be Available to Copilot+ PCs?

In the on-going drama surrounding the next version of Windows, i.e., Windows 11 24H2 - which has not been released to the public - the latest news from Microsoft is that 24H2 will only be available to Copilot+ PCs.

But does this mean it will only be available to Copilot+ PCs in the Release Previews Channel (for testing by Windows Insiders) or only available to Copilot+ PCs period?



It doesn't make sense (to me) that Microsoft would split its Windows 11 customers into two groups: those with Copilot+ PCs and those without. Or maybe this is Microsoft's way to, how shall I say, persuade customers toward Copilot+ PCs.



And no, Recall will not be included in the new version of Windows.
