Windows 10: Factory reset without bitlocker

My roommate recently passed away and left me a surface pro 7. He didn't leave me the pin or password. I want to factory reset so I can use it but have no way to get bitlock recovery key. Is the computer useless now. I obviously can't get the passwords since he is deceased.

Trying to Factory Reset Windows 10 w/o Administrator/BitLocker/USB

Hello,

I have been trying to reset my Surface Go. I do not have access to the Administrator account, hence why I am trying to factory reset my PC. I do not have a USB available, nor do I have a USB I can use to create a bootable media to reinstall Windows 10. I have tried resetting Windows 10 from the Troubleshoot Menu (Holding Shift while Restarting), but when I complete all the steps, my PC does not factory reset.

My Version number is 20H2 (OS Build 19042.1052)

Bitlocker Recovery Key Access/Factory Reset through bitlocker screen

Hello again,

I went into my OneDrive and when I was there I saw my account was frozen. I followed the steps and cleared it. It's been about 5 hours and neither my Onedrive is unfrozen or my BitLocker page shows up. I now have now idea what to do. Any suggestions?
