Windows 10: factory reset

hello so a while back I couldn't use the "reset my pc" option on my windows tablet until I upgraded to windows 1803 then something went very wrong and almost everything was not functioning the only thing that still worked was the system troubleshooting menu for when your computer doesn't boot right I tried the reset option again and it worked only that one time, on the other tablet lots of things are messed up and I can't reset it at all what methods do you guys suggest? do you think I should delete certain things from the system? if so then what files? thanks

Thank you john for all of your help i decided to get the usb my computer came with and factory reset it i didnt have anything that personal or valueable so its ok thanks for the help though i appreciate it
