Windows 10: factory reset

i am on facetime with my buddie and he factory rest his computer that was working and when it got to 100% and it turned off and is not posting and we have made sure all connections are connected his mouse and keyboard his keyboard works but his mouse is not and he switched them around same result

Thank you john for all of your help i decided to get the usb my computer came with and factory reset it i didnt have anything that personal or valueable so its ok thanks for the help though i appreciate it
