    Factory resetting accidental Parent Lock


    Hi there!I am running off a Lenovo ideapad 3, and I accidentally created a child account upon my OOBE. Now with the computer fully set up, I have attempted to factory reset the computer. When I start it, it gets stuck on the "Getting things ready", and has not ever passed that. Because of that, I created a Win 10 OS disk, where I went into the UEFI and booted it from said USB. When I went to do the custom install so I could reset it from there, it said that it cannot find any drives. So from there I went to cmd and tried diskpart. With that, the only disk I could find was the USB the boot was

    5800 does a factory reset also reset the sim lock

    I have a 5800, which has been unlocked by the provider (Tmobile) so I can use an 02 sim.

    The phone currently has the expired certificate problem, and as suggested in the forums a factory reset may fix this. I know that most of the phones setting will also be reset...



    But will a factory reset also reset the sim lock, and lock the phone back to Tmobile ?

    If you can not slide the lock screen it may well be an issue with the digitizer.

    The only other suggestion I have is perform a hard reset to return the device back to factory defaults. If that does not work, you will have to send it in for repair/replacement sushi21.

    Steps to hard reset using phone buttons:

    • With the phone turned off, press and hold the VOLUME UP and DOWN buttons, and then briefly press the POWER button.
    • Wait for the screen to show the instructions on how to do the factory reset, and then release the VOLUME UP and DOWN buttons.
    • Follow the instructions onscreen to factory reset your phone.

    *Bang Head :banghead:i have a dgm LTV-2261WCR 22" DVD combi which i use as my monitor and tv, however since the visit of the ex's brat ive found the child lock is active. i need to retune the tv, as losing freeview channels rapidly, can ne1 help me with a factory reset/override code?
