Windows 10: "[fail] Could not open root directory: [10] Volume Corrupt" error came out when installing...

So I was installing Windows 11 using a USB flash drive in Ubuntu 22.04, and I had the error message "[fail] Could not open root directory: [10] Volume Corrupt" when booting from the USB. The USB is literally brand new and is not broken in any way, and I have the ISO file mirrored correctly, secure boot turned off, and legacy boot turned on. Installing in a HP Elitebook 840 G5, Ubuntu 22.04.04 LTS, 64-bit.

an in-place upgrade repair install which keeps all progs, data and most settings

You need an iso of the same base language and build- freely downloadable.

I have 4 of these errors, NTFS failed to mount the volume.

The volume is recognized by NTFS but it is corrupted that NTFS could not mount it. Run

CHKDSK /F to fix any errors on this volume, and then try accessing it.

Not sure whats causing it, doesn't tell me the volume, but I only have the one drive

with the recovery partition.
