  1. Fail to connect the mic, speaker is connected

    Hi all,

I have bought a "One Plus wireless bullet Z" for zoom classes.

It was working just fine few days ago both mic and speaker was connected.

But now both things only work when when it is connected to a phone.

The problem appears when we connect it to a laptop. Although it appears in the bluetooth settings menu with as aOneplus Bullets wireless Z with a headset icon, and when connected it shows: "Connected voice, music", the microphone of the speaker doesn't work.

    • All bluetooth drivers have been reinstalled and are up to date

    • I have run the Troubleshoot unsuccessfully, getting the following response: “Troubleshooting couldn’t identify the problem”.

Is there anything else i can do at this point? This has been tested on 2 computers.

Is this an issue with Windows 10 and Bluetooth speakers with microphones?

    Many thanks for any help!

    :)

Bluetooth speaker with mic - mic not working when connected on Win10

    Hi all,

We have bought a speaker for our office to use in conferences.

The bluetooth speaker has a microphone, and works fine (both mic and speaker) when connected to a smartphone.

The problem appears when we connect it to a laptop. Although it appears in the bluetooth settings menu with as a Headset with a headset icon, and when connected it shows: "Connected voice, music", the microphone
    of the speaker doesn't work.

In the Sound Settings, the speaker is selected both in Output and Input, but when testing, no sound is recorded, even though the speaker works (you can hear sound through it).

    • All bluetooth drivers have been reinstalled and are up to date

    • We have run the Troubleshoot unsuccessfully, getting the following response: “Troubleshooting couldn’t identify the problem”.

Under Device properties > Properties > Details > Device Description is listed as
    Bluetooth Hands-Free.

Is there anything else we can do at this point? This has been tested on 2 computers.

Is this an issue with Windows 10 and Bluetooth speakers with microphones?

    Many thanks for any help!

    Connecting Speakers

First time here but I have a question regarding my speakers and onboard audio.
I went out and bought the Z-5300's and hooked em up, however one speaker doesnt work. The problem lies in my onboard audio, i hooked it up to 5.1 and it works. However i realized awhile ago that the green input in the back(onboard) was always finiky. Sometimes it wouldnt want to cooperate with me when i pluged something into it(ie not play, scratchy). So i started using the front connection.(side of my computer, another green input/pink mic). This worked wonderfully for my last speakers. However now that i need 3 inputs, i dont have another connection on the front of my case for this, only 2 like stated above. When i try to use the 2 in the back, and use the Green input on the front, my mobo disables the sound in the rear inputs, and only allows anything pluged into the front to work. Sooo running a longer cord to the front(green input), allows my 2 front speakers to work, but disables my sub/center and rear speakers. Is there a way to disable this feature, so that anything plugged in anywhere will run? (2 in back, 1 in front) I really dont want to have to buy a sound card quite yet.

    Thanks, Cupcakke.

  4. Fail to connect the mic, speaker is connected

Using phone mic while connected to external speakers thru the headphone jack

I want to use external speakers (the ones I use with my laptop - not Nokia, local manufacture) to hear calls and music but want to use the phone (E63) mic to talk.

When I connect the speakers I can hear the sound on the speakers but my mic gets deactivated.

Is there a solution to this?

PS. As soon as I connect the speakers E63 shows connect to a headset. Is there a way that it should change the enhancement to headphones or music stand?

    Thanks!
