Windows 10: FAIL TO INSTALL UPDATE ERROR 0X800F081F

I have more than 10 workstations fail to install updates getting error 0X800f081f, i have try to reset services and using DISM command to fix corrupted file but after downloading the file its popup the message that my Workstation are not compatible with Windows 11, while my all workstations is compatible to windows 11Specification is Dell Latitude 5440, Core i7-1365u ~2.7GHz Memory :16GB I have tried to run below commands but still not fixing the issue net stop wuauservnet stop wuauservnet stop bitsnet stop msiservercd C:\Windows\SoftwareD

this happens to me too and after some tests I realized (in my case) that 0x800f081f occurs when I remove/uninstall edge using install_wim_tweak tool

since I do a lot of tweaks/remove metro apps before connecting a Fresh Windows Install on Internet, I did some tests step by step on VM, formatting/reformatting/etc..

1) Fresh Win install (18362.175) -> Update KB4507453 OK (Build 18362.239)

2) Fresh Win Install (18362.175) -> Removed Apps/Win Tweaks -> Update KB4507453 OK (Build 18362.239)

3) Fresh Win Install (18362.175) -> Removed only EDGE with install_tweak_tool -> Update KB4507453 FAIL. (error 0x800f081f)

So, by elminination, EDGE was the cause of the problem in my case. I'm used to remove CONNECT too with install_tweak_tool, but I didn't test it.

 

Update Error 0x800f081f for Update KB5030219

I am getting this error for Cumulative updates since a month, to be more precise Update KB5030219

As shown in the video posted below, the other update succesfully gets downloaded and installed while the reported update gives me error code 0x800f081f. Video listed is a timelapse fast forward it to the end to see the error

Laptop Model: Asus Vivobook 15.6 inch M515DA-BQ512WS



Steps I have tried to resolve the error:

1. Every process mentioned in this thread, yet none worked to resolve this.
   
2. Appraoched ASUS service centre, where they suggested me to clean wipe and install the updates to resolve this error.
   

Yet one of the working engineer also suggested me to write this in the forum as last step of hope before resetting the whole laptop.

Installing every application to be at today's restore point will take me around 15-20 hours of continous screen time, which I really not willing to take.

I am usually on & off my wifi for work conditions, hence attempts to pause the updates have also been out of question.

I am also curious to understand the reason for initiation of this error. Also, would love to explore any other possibilities where I might have missed to neutralise this error as it is affecting my meter connection.

Hope to see similar reports or expertise so as to collectively resolve this error for the community.
