Windows 10: Fail to login to all microsoft accounts on my windows 11 except for on google chrome

So I am currently in China as a student. I usually need a proper VPN to connect to Google so that I can resume my studies. However, I am facing a problem where I cannot log in to any Microsoft account windows Microsoft account, onenote account, office accounts, etc.. Could it be caused by the VPN?For example, the error code I get while trying to log into OneNote is 0x80190001, However, when I try to log in to outlook on google chrome, it does work.The system is Windows 11. I am using the VPN named Bitznet.What could be the cause of this? And how can I fix it?Thank you!

• Is the issue confined to Google Chrome?
• Have you tried uninstalling/re-installing Google Chrome?

There could be several reasons for this cause. I would suggest you to try the steps below and check the result.

Uninstall Google Chrome and then re-install

Press Windows key + X and click Programs & Features

Right click Google Chrome and click Uninstall

Re-install Google Chrome and check.

If the issue still persists, please contact the developer of Google Chrome.

Google account login in Windows?

Logging into a google account using Chrome is unrelated to logging in using Firefox. The logins are based on cookies, and these are not shared across browsers.

Logging in to one google service seems to log you into all google services. But I couldn't give you a list of all google services. I only use gmail, maps, You Tube, and You Tube TV. There might be more services in the land of google.

To log out of a google account, click that circle and choose log out from the menu.

 

problem uninstalling google chrome

Since you already uninstalled Google Chrome using the Programs and Features, Google notifications may still be running in the background processes. We suggest that you follow these steps on how to end the Google Chrome process:

• On your keyboard, press Ctrl+Alt+Delete.
• Select Task Manager.
• Under Processes, locate Google Notifications or Google Chrome.
• Right click on them and select End Task.
• Double check under Programs and Features if Google Chrome is completely gone.
