Windows 10: Failed attempts to upgrade Window 10 versions very frustrating

I have a Lenovo Computer with the operating systemWindows 10 Pro. OS Build 14393.693. Installed Memory RAM is 4.00GB. Thesystem type is a 64bit operating system and a x64-based processor.

Last successfully installed update was on November 20,2020 - Update for Windows 10, Version 1809 for x-64 based systems KB4023057

Between March 10, 2020 to November 1, 2020 inclusive –Eight 8 failed install attempts for update for Windows 10, Version 19090x8007001f

On both December 5, 2020 and January 9, 2021, there werefailed install attempts for update for Windows 10, Version 20H2 0x80070643.After January 9, 2021, I have received 39 messages that my computer requires arestart to finish installing Version 20H2. I have restarted my computer 39 times,and nothing happens, and my computer is not being updated.

I am not a technical person and need step by stepinstructions as to how to fix this so I can have the latest version of windows.

Stuck in Windows 10 Upgrade

My computer seems to be stuck in a Windows 10 failed upgrade loop. I was running fine on a beta version of Windows 10, and then I came downstairs one morning to see it repeatedly booting, attempting to repair, then rebooting. The steps I've taken to diagnose are:

• Attempting to boot off a USB drive (with all drives disabled in BIOS) - this fails at the point of the blue windows screen
  
• Attempting to boot the machine itself and getting into "repair/safe mode" using F7
  
• Looking at the BIOS for obvious failures (e.g. RAM that should be there is missing) - nothing obvious is wrong.
  

I am fairly certain the build version was 9926. For many months, the system would attempt to upgrade, and then say "it failed" for some reason and roll back.

Suggestions for next steps?

Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

• Open a new Explorer window.
• Click View in the ribbon.
• Click Options.
• Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
• Click OK

Windows Updates failed to instal

I just did step one and they have just all installed.... thank you so much.... it was quite frustrating having that update window pop up every 5 minutes and failing to instal every time
