    I restore my laptop, and when windows was installing it my laptop shut off and now when i turn it on it comes up with a window saying " the computer restarted unexpectedly .... restart your computer and then install the installation. When i restart it keeps pooping up, how do reinstall?

    Image (from failed SSD) restore failure. Can't do a clean install - did not extract Activation Key when free upgrade performed in 2015

    Hi NGent11. Welcome to the Tenforums @NGent11

    If you hold down the shift key and click restart it will cause a menu to appear on your next boot. You can click on Trouble Shooting and then Advance Startup options. Here is the tutorial.

    Advanced Startup Options - Boot to in Windows 10

    You can get to system restore through this process.

    All that being said what do you mean in your opening statement, "I restored my laptop". Were you using System Restore to go back to an earlier time, were you using one of the Advance Startup Options, were you using a vendor recovery partition or were you doing an Image Restore using Windows or a third party product?
