Windows 10: Failed - Network Issue: Error while downloading any file using any browser

Recently I have installed Windows 10 64-bit on my desktop from Windows 10 32-bit and I am facing a problem with downloading files on my browsers.So, the update or a clean install was successful, and I started downloading 64-bit applications for my new version of Windows 10 OS.My problem is that every time while downloading any file, my browsers download 2-10mbs of it before showing"Failed - Network Issue" on Chrome and,"Couldn't download: network Issue" on Microsoft Edge.Moreover, if I click the resume button on any of them, it continues downloading 2-10mbs of the file before showing the

Download issue with Edge browser

We appreciate you for being part of Windows 10.

I understand that you are not able to download any files through EDGE browser.

Follow the below steps and check if it helps.

Step 1:

I suggest you clear the Clear browsing data option of Microsoft Edge and check if you face the issue. To do so perform the steps below.

• Click on the More actions (…) icon next to the feedback icon present on top right corner of the Project Spartan homepage.
• Select Settings and click on Choose what to clear.
• Check the boxes Browsing history, Cookies and saved website data and Cached data and files and click on Clear.

Step 2:

• 
  Open the Task manager. Here’s a tip: Press CTRL+Shift+ESC.
  
• 
  Right click on Microsoft EDGE.
  
• 
  Go to details click on microsoftedgeCP.exe and click
  end task.
  

You have to repeat it few times it worked for me hope it will help you to reset the Microsoft edge browser.

The download option will be available on the EDGE browser at the top right corner. Click on Hub (three horizontal symbol) and click on Downloads, there you will be able to click on Downloads folder and check where the download
files are getting saved.

How to troubleshoot downloads that display: Failed - Network error

Some files when downloaded with Chrome displayed Failed - Network error

Repetitive attempts today failed.

In the image one file failed four times, worked on the forth an failed on the fifth download.
Another file failed on the first and worked on the second attempt.

Other downloads today were without problems.

Yesterday there were problems with Failed - Network error and repetitive attempts failed.

Do you have access to another PC or phone to proof network connectivity? This will resolve if the problem is a result of the network or your PC.
