Windows 10: Failed Reactivation after switching Motherboard and CPU

Yesterday I switched from Intel to AMD. Since then I have been trying to get Windows to activate on the new platform but without success. I read all the links and suggestions people had, but nothing helped. The error code I was getting was 0xC004F211. I unregistered the key from the SSD in hope getting it to activate that way.

After going through the Troubleshooter, selecting "I changed hardware on this device recently" and selecting the current PC I get the following message "Unable to activate Windows We can’t reactivate Windows on this device. Try again later."

I reinstalled the whole system.


Once before I changed my PC completely and reactivated the licence without any problems using my Hotmail account. What can I do now? The key I am trying to use was for Windows 8 (since I upgraded to 10).


One thing I noted is that when I try to enter my key, the message below states that the last product key I entered can't be used for this Windows copy. The ID that is inside the brackets doesn't match the one I had before.

Can't reactivate windows after changing motherboard and cpu.

I recently had hardware trouble with my computer and the CPU completely failed leaving me to have to buy a new cpu and motherboard. I have tried using windows activation trouble shooter to try and reactive windows via the hardware change option but it constantly
says failed. What can I do, doesn't make all too much sense that I would have to fork out £120 on a whole new copy of windows just for a key? Even though I'm using the original account and the original drive.

 

Changed MotherBoard CPU and Memory Now can't reactivate

My old Evga 780i bit the dust and had to buy new MotherBoard, CPU and Memory and now i can't reactivate window 10.

I changed the motherboard and CPU on my computer and the digital license reactivation isn't working. I follow all the steps, (settings - update & security - Activation - Troubleshoot - I changed hardware on this device recently) the computer I am trying
to activate windows 10 on does not show up as one that I can choose. BUT when I go into my Microsoft account it is there under devices. Why is it not showing up as one I can choose to activate windows 10 on????
