    Failed to inject driver package in the new OS


    Hi,I've been trying to update my XPS 9300 to Windows 11 but every time I download and install it, my computer installs around 2% before it shows a message saying "undoing changes made to your computer" and it restarts back into Windows 10.I've looked at the log files and one of the lines is "Failed to inject driver package in the new OS: C:\Windows\System32\DriverStore\FileRepository\detectionverificationdrv.inf_amd64_05197f903a0e5beb\detectionverificationdrv.inf. Error: 0x80070002[gle=0x0000007a]"Firstly, I'm not sure if this file can be safely deleted or not, but I also don't have permission

    Thanks very much lilhasselhoffer. I'll start doing what you suggested step by step.

    One question thou: you suggested me to Download the latest driver package from Nvidea. However, the link you posted is for the newly released GeForce GTX 760? Am I supposed to download the drivers for that card?

    Sorry for my questions. As I said, I'm not an expert at all.

    Try doing a clean install of the drivers.

    New nvidia drivers failed?

    Noob question here - I am new to nvidia cards and never have experienced these problems. The graphics driver (the new one that came out w/crysis 3) apparently installs correctly according to the message at the end of the install but nothing else does (I.e. Physx). I have tried looking up the issue but can't seem to find good step by step resolutions. Any ideas? Thanks!
