Windows 10: Failed to install KB5005624 for Win 10 version 1909. Any suggestions on workarounds?

Dear experts community,Cx reported that they failed to install KB5005624 for Win 10 version 1909. In fact, they found that it is required to install KB5004748 first before KB5005624. And when installing KB5004748, it keeps rolling back the update after completion, and then reboot for serval times. Therefore no way for cx to complete KB5005624. Sadly Win10 v. 1909 is already EOL and cannot be supported by Microsoft any more. And cx is not able to upgrade the Windows version due to some policy. It has to stay at version 1909...Therefore seeking help here from the wider community to see if any ad

Clean Install Workaround for Vista

You may remember this news story on techPowerUp! a couple of days ago relating to the lack of clean installs when using the Upgrade Editions of Vista, which required an old OS to be installed. However, Paul Thurrott has managed to find a workaround for this issue, which ironically lets users do a clean install Vista without any previous version of Windows, albeit a little tedious. Here are the steps:

• Boot from the Windows Vista Upgrade DVD as normal
• When prompted for a product code, leave this blank
• Select the version of Vista you have purchased and let Vista install
• When you boot to your desktop for the first time, run the Vista setup from Windows
• This time enter your product key
• When asked whether you want to do an Upgrade of Custom install, select custom and choose a clean install
• Windows will now install for a second time and you should be able to activate it

Remember, these steps are only advised for use in order to achieve a clean install of Vista, it is only legal to use the upgrade editions if you have previously purchased the appropriate version of Windows.

How to create a Win 10 version 1909 installation media to downgrade from version 2004?

After clean install pf Win 10 version 2004, system "Cannot connect to network". It was suggested I down grade to 1909.I have a version 2004 installation USB. I have a version 1909 ISO file. If I knew where the version 2004 was hiding, I could replace
it. Or I could create a new media, but all instructions lead to 2004 installs.

constantly getting the message that the update to Windows 10, Version 1909 fails. Detailed message:

• Fehler bei der Installation am ‎11.‎04.‎2020 – 0x8007001f

I couldn't find a solution in the community, yet. Thus I'm asking for support.
