    Failed to install wsl in my window 10 pro. Error 0x80244022:


    I was installing windows subsystem for linuxwsl in my windows 10 pro machine. I got and error 0x80244022 while installing. I don't know how to fix it.

    Hi,

    I have the same problem with update. Windows 10 Pro 1703 - build 15063.296. Error - 0x80244022. Problem is on work PC (upgrade from 1603) and home PC (clear install 1703).

    Failed to install wsl in my window 10 pro. Error 0x80244022:

    Installing window subsystem for linux failed with this Error code: Wsl/CallMsi/Install/0x80070641

    I was going to install Ubuntu for linux where I had to first install wsl(window subsystem for linux) and i'm getting this error

    WSL is finishing an upgrade...

    Update failed (exit code: 1601).
