  1. Failed to make call using Phone Link and Bluetooth headset

Hi Experts,I am trying to work out my new setup with Phone Link. I'm running Windows 11 and I have a Samsung S23FE phone. The Phone Link has been setup and worked correctly mostly. One of the missing pieces is making phone calls on my PC using the Phone Link. I have tried two different Bluetooth headsets and both failed.I can make the call from my PC using Phone Link. The caller app will pop up and dial the number. In the very first moment, the caller app is still showing that the Bluetooth connection with my PC is on. Right after that, the Bluetooth connection is lost and the audio is only on

    :)

Phone Link sound to Phone's headset

I apologize for any confusion caused. It appears that the Phone Link interface may differ depending on the version you are using.

If you don't see an "Audio" tab in your Phone Link settings, you can try the following steps to redirect the sound to your Bluetooth headset:

Connect your Bluetooth headset to your phone and make sure it is paired and connected.

On your computer, go to "Settings" > "Devices" > "Bluetooth & other devices" and make sure your phone is paired and connected to your computer.

Right-click on the volume icon in the taskbar and select "Open Sound settings".

Under the "Output" section, select your Bluetooth headset as the default audio output device.

Open Phone Link and dial the number you want to call using the dialer on the Phone Link interface.

Once the call is connected, the sound should be redirected to your Bluetooth headset.

If you still can't hear the sound through your Bluetooth headset, you may need to check the settings on your phone to make sure that the audio output is set to your Bluetooth headset. Additionally, you may need to check the documentation for your specific phone and Bluetooth headset to see if there are any additional settings that need to be configured

Phone Link sound to Phone's headset

Hello and thanks for reaching out for support. My name is Larribeau, a regular user like you. I'll be happy to help you out today.

To use your Bluetooth headset for audio output when using Phone Link, you need to change the audio output settings on your computer. Here's how you can do it:

Connect your Bluetooth headset to your computer if you haven't already done so.

Right-click on the volume icon in the taskbar and select "Open Sound settings".

Under the "Output" section, select your Bluetooth headset as the default audio output device.

Open Phone Link and check if the audio output is now directed to your Bluetooth headset.

If the audio is still being directed to your computer speakers, you may need to change the audio settings in Phone Link. Here's how to do it:

Open Phone Link and click on the settings icon.

Under the "Audio" section, select your Bluetooth headset as the audio output device.

Test the audio output by making a phone call using Phone Link.

If these steps do not work, you may need to check the documentation for your specific phone and Bluetooth headset to see if there are any additional settings that need to be configured
