Windows 10: Failed to update the SQL server 2019 CU27+GDR with KB5040948

Dear All,Currently I'm facing and issues of applying SQL server 2019 CU as below:Summary the Step: 1. KB5029377 - Security update for SQL Server 2019 GDR - failed to install error in windows update

Windows update attempted to install this, but each reboot results in error: Install error - 0x80240017

I've attempted this 3x and each time results in the same error.

I then download the update from MS and install manually. But that results in the message.

There are no SQL Server instances or shared features that can be updated on this computer.

I am running SQL 2019 Developer on my PC, and when I check the version it says I already have KB5029377, so how can I remove this from Window Update to keep prompting me to install.

Update Failed - Security Update for SQL Server 2019 RTM GDR (KB5021125) - Download error - 0x8024a206 - Did I break something?

It shows this in the Windows Update section:

Security Update for SQL Server 2019 RTM GDR (KB5021125)

Download error - 0x8024a206

and shows "Error encountered" on the right side of the same section. When I hit retry it shows the same message. How can I fix this?

I'm no longer using SQL server and I uninstalled it. But I'm having the Security Update for SQL Server error.

I followed the instructions for this issue (Issue with failed installation of Security Update for SQL Server 2022 RTM GDR (KB5029379) on Windows 11 - Microsoft Q&A) and it is not working. Just in case, I don't have an antivirus apart from Windows Defender, so I ignored the part of disabling the antivirus, but I did disable the firewall.
