    Failed Virus Scan every time. Tried everything. When is Microsoft going to fix this....


    All my virus scan and firewall turned off. Made registry changes etc etc etc etc etc. Nothing can be downloaded. Period.Made my computer a web browser instead of a gaming computer

    'Virus scan failed' message

    Yes, I use Chrome. I've received several emails with Word doc attachments or google docs attached and I get the message "Failed - Virus scan failed"

    I tried to go through the steps described by typing in regedit and going through the steps provided but that didn't solve the problem.

    Virus scan failed

    Everything I download I get the failed-virus scan failed. I have tried turning off all virus scans, doing the registry edit, restarting in safe mode, and using other internet browsers. Nothing has worked.

    Microsoft Exclusion List for Anti-virus

    Apparantly, Microsoft posted a list of files that can be "Excluded" from any Anti-Virus that you use to help with scanning performance.
