Windows 10: Failed Win 10 pc format attempt - now pc wont boot?

I attempted to format a Win 10 pc but it stopped formatting (came up with a Windows failure to complete message) about half way through and now the pc wont boot up?
I can get into the motherboard (MSI) Setup utility, and from a different computer I downloaded a "Create Windows 10 installation media for another pc" onto a USB drive.
I then went into the Setup and changed the Boot Option Priorities to 1st Boot to USB Hard Disk.
But when I reboot, nothing happens...it still just loops around a black screen.
Any suggestions to solve this? Apologies in advance for my lack of pc knowledge!!

Format a Win 7 PC

Hello everyone, hope u are good. I got some viruses in my Win 7 64 bit pc. I wanted to format my pc and install Win 8.1 but I have a old pc. I want to format my PC from a bootable Pendrive. But I have HP dx2480MT with BIOS version V1.14

When I saw many YouTube videos to foramt my oc. I got confused. As in my pc, i have to select first boot device but in its options, I got USB FBB and USB ZIP.

Plz tell me which option to select to format my PC from Pendrive. And also give me step by step method to format my PC of BIOS Version V1.14 because no YouTube video show me v1.14 bios format. This version have everything different. So plz tell me everything.

PC wont boot

Hey,

I tried changing my FSB/CPU multiplier to 10 and changing the FSB to 260, I was also supposed to change the HTT multiplier to 4, but I couldnt find it, and so I thought it might be the CAS frequency...

saved & rebooted


PC wont get pass boot up, have to jump the CMOS switch everytime I wont hte pc to boot! yes, every time!

PC wont boot

Sounds like the CMOS isn't clearing. Try this (in the following order - don't skip anything):

1. power down PC
2. remove power plug
3. move CMOS clear jumper
4. remove battery
5. press power switch several times
6. wait at least 30 seconds
7. insert battery
8. move CMOS clear jumper
9. plug in PSU
10. power on PC

If this still doesn't work, try doing step 6 for longer periods of time (12-24 hours if needed). Also, veryfiy the CMOS clear jumper's position with the manual to make sure it's not in the wrong position to start with.

After you get the PC to boot, go back into the BIOS and make sure none of the "bad" settings are still there.
