Windows 10: Failed windows 10 install

Hey,


I reset my harddrive, it finished and started the windows 10 install. It sat there with the dots moving and a progress bar at 1% for an hour then the dots stopped moving. I got inpatient read some info and unpluged my usb wifi adapter thinking it would help, it didnt. I then turned the pc off and got and error at start up saying window install cannot proceed, to restart windows click ok and then restart the installation. It then went to a windows blue screen with a : symbol saying your pc ran into a problem were just collection data. It also gave me one of those scanable squares. It then gave me a windows stop code “machine check exception.” It had a progress bar and disnt move for 30 min so I hard reset it. Now it just boots up to my mobo logo screen then gives me another error saying windows install cannot proceed.


My BIOS is out of date so Im going to try and update it. Is there anything else I can do to try and fix this?

The harddrive is from a Dell prebuilt years ago. It came with Windows 10 on it, I do not have a key for Windows 10 either.

Windows Updates failed to instal

I just did step one and they have just all installed.... thank you so much.... it was quite frustrating having that update window pop up every 5 minutes and failing to instal every time

windows xp installation and dual core am

could someone please list the steps they follow to install windows with a dual core processor and windows xp service pack to. I'm reletively new to amd dual core and i feel i'm missing a step. All help will be appreciated. thanx
