Windows 10: Failed Windows Update 24H2

Discus and support Failed Windows Update 24H2 in Windows 10 Software and Apps to solve the problem; My Windows update keeps failing due to lack of space.     Failed Windows Update 24H2


    My Windows update keeps failing due to lack of space. I discovered that the lack of space happened because Phone Link now copies all of my phone's data to the C Drive and holds it in a file called CrossDevice which is hidden under Users. The simple answer would have been to delete the files in CrossDevice but that also deletes them on my phone! The second obvious solution would be to disable or remove Phone Link or remove my phone as an attached device. However, there does not appear to be any way of doing either. So my question is how do I get rid of the CrossDevice folder to release s
