Windows 10: Failed windows $Windows.~BT folder

Hi

I was having trouble with my windows password last week so I tried a windows restore it got about halfway through but it failed and it told me no files were changed,the problem is now I am left with a 14GB $Windows.~BT folder on my c drive I have tried deleting it but to no success so I am wondering can this file be deleted or even though it failed do I still need it,i would like to delete it if possible as my c drive is only 244 GB any help appreciated.

The Windows $BT folder is there in case you want to recover the old OS. It's not needed for an upgrade.

I think BT is an abbreviation for "Bloat". lol

So about two weeks ago I deleted a $Windows~.BT folder (through the cmd). Now I know that was Windows 10 files ready for install.

How can I download it again? I'm sure I need to reinstall some update. But which?
