Windows 10: Failing update 0x800703f1

Error in Windows update. Troubleshooter is not doing anything. I ran the sfc scan and its not helping as well.

Error 0x800703f1 always fail to update Windows 10

dear All,

I've upgrade windows 7 home basic to windows 10 on early August 2015 and then get some updates thru windows update, but unfortunately since end of September 2015 until now, I always fail to update Windows 10, the error message
always appear :

"There were problems installing some updates, but we'll try again later. If you keep seeing this and want to search the web or contact support for information, this may help:

• 
  Cumulative Update for Windows 10 (KB3116869) - Error 0x800703f1
  
• 
  Security Update for Internet Explorer Flash Player for Windows 10 (KB3087040) - Error 0x800703f1
  
• 
  Update for Windows 10 (KB3106932) - Error 0x800703f1
  
  note :windows defender update is still working thru windows update
  
  it makes me disappointed, is there Any body can help me?

Drivers won't update, errors 0x800703f1 and 0x80070002

I have about 20 drivers that need updating. Windows version 18363. The updates download but fail to install. All report error 0x80070002 or 0x800703f1.

I've tried:

• Clearing the download files and restarting the update service.
• Running the troubleshooter
• sfc /scannow
• dism /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth, which seemed to hang after the scan.
• perfmon /report, which shows that one service is crashing
• Using the Device Manager to install individual drivers
• Various other remedies proposed; I googled the error codes and followed up...

Suggestions?

 

Can't Update Windows 10, No USB function, Errors 0x80070652 & 0x800703f1

I also tried the windows update assistant. It recognized that I am running 10586 and the latest version is 14393. Per usual, the update fails at ~85% with error 0x800703f1. On the steps you listed before, the windows update troubleshooter recognized 2
issues and stated that they had been fixed. I could be wrong, but I don't think they were fixable on previous attempts (before you started assisting).
