Windows 10: Failting application name mmc.exe AND errors with explorer.exe

Hi!

Recently I dual-booted Windows 10 and Windows 8. But something strange started happening. After removing windows 8, if I tried to open up a fullscreen game, and tab out, the desktop would be black, and I would have to task kill said game, and kill explorer.exe and start explorer.exe. And not only that, I once had an explorer.exe window pop up saying unknown hard error. Then, I would have to reboot. After some troubleshooting with the game and running it, I got a different error. Not enough memory for this application to run. This is strange because I used to have discord, the game, and chrome running at the same time. And after sfc /scannow and no errors, a disk check that cost me until 11 last night. I got tired of it. I opened my event viewer log after running NO applications. And I saw an error. I know every computer most likely will have a good amount of errors. But this one caught my eye. After I saw that error, there was a .NET error. It said the following: Application: mmc.exe Framework Version: v4.0.303.19 Description: The process was terminated due to an unhandled exception Exception Info: System.OutOfMemoryException. That makes absolutely no sense. This was happening when I had 12 gigs in, and so I removed 4 gigs to check if something is wrong with it, and it still happens with my 8 gig stick. Oh, and can you BELIEVE IT!!! THERE IS ANOTHER ONE. Dwm.exe also has errors. I'm thinking of just doing a reinstall of windows at this point because the only use of my pc is talking on discord and having 3 tabs open on google. Kinda need some help

some .exe files hang


In the last 48 hours, some .exe files do not execute. If started from explorer, explorer hangs. No error messages. These files run on another Win 10 machine. Nothing obvious in the event viewer. I note that *.exe file cannot be deleted when the system is in this state. I must reboot to regain access to the .exe file. sfc /scannnow shows no errors.

Any suggestions?

 

winx86.exe - Application Error (0xc000007b)

so malwarebytes wanted to delete this, and now it keeps spamming me with this error

"winx86.exe - Application Error
The application was unable to start correctly (0xc000007b).
Click OK to close the application"

I click OK and it keeps popping up with this

I would like to inform that Regsvr32.exe Application Error
Codes are caused by misconfigured system files in your windows operating system or by the following reasons:

• missing or damaged or modified .dll files.
• Invalid Entry or Command path.
• Active X control errors.
• Registry issues.
• Viral or Malware Attack.

I suggest you to run SFC scan and check if it helps.

System File Checker is a utility in Windows that allows users to scan for corruptions in Windows system files and restore corrupted files.

Follow the below steps:

• Right click on the Start button, click on
  Command Prompt (Admin).
• Type “sfc /scannow” without the quotes and hit
  Enter.
• After the scan, restart the computer and check for the issue.
