Windows 10: Failure to install the Windows 11 24H2 update Error Code: 0xC1900101 0x40021 The...

I tried earlier today to install the Windows 11 24H2 update onto my 2023 Asus Zephyrus M16 laptop, but with no luck. I first tried a few times to install the update via the Windows Update menu, I would usually be able to download the OS update, but upon installing it, it would hang around the 75% installation mark and throw a BSOD with the error message, "INVALID_DATA_ACCESS_TRAP".I later tried to download a .iso copy of the 24H2 update and run the setup.exe program inside the .iso file to update my laptop that way. The same issue however would appear, the setup program would get 75% of the wa

I tried upgrading Windows 10 to Windows 11 using "Check for updates Menu in Settings" and "Windows Installation Assistant" but both fail at the end with the error:

Error Code: 0xC1900101 0x40021

The installation failed in the SECOND_BOOT phase with an error during SYSPREP_RESPECIALIZE operation

I read a thread about this error and said to generate a new thread because each PC got different solution.

Please Help...

The pc is fully compatible in the pc Health Check WIndows 11 requirements.

I tried installing Windows 11 downloading the ISO image and creating a usb unit but it fails at the end with the error: Error Code: 0xC1900101 0x40021 The installation failed in the SECOND_BOOT phase with an error during SYSPREP_RESPECIALIZE operation I don't know what else can I do.

I've tried installing using the other methods.
Check for updates Menu in Settings- It displays "Great news—your PC meets the minimum system requirements for Windows 11."
Windows Installation Assistant - It does the entire process of downloading and installing Windows 11 and ultimately reboots into WIndows 10. Also, the pc is fully compatible in the pc Health Check WIndows 11 requirements.

I tried installing Windows 11 23H2 from 22H2 using ISO but it fails and rolls back at the end with the error:

Error Code: 0xC1900101 0x40021

The installation failed in the SECOND_BOOT phase with an error during SYSPREP_RESPECIALIZE operation

Can't seem to find any documentation regarding this error.

Looking at a previous post with same error (Redirecting), i've saved the following files:

• C:\$Windows.~BT\Sources\Panther\Setupact.log
  
• C:\$Windows.~BT\Sources\Rollback\Setupact.log
  
• C:/$Windows.~bt\Sources\Rollback\setupapi\setupapi.dev.log
  
• C:\$Windows.~BT\Sources\Rollback\Setupmem.dmp
  

and used "setupdiag /ZipLogs:True" to create the Logs.zip file, but don't know what to search for.

Any help on this?
