  1. Fall Creator Update screwed up, settings and all appdata etc.

Pretty much what the title says, so I found this http://www.thewindowsclub.com/rollba...reators-update that says all I got to do is click restore Win 10 which I did and it's telling me that I need to remove an account before I can do that, here's the kicker the account is my Admin account "custom"

Fall Creator Update screwed up, settings and all appdata etc. [IMG]

see what the update did was take my old custom account and leave it and create a new one just adding a desktop name to it, as well as rename the old windows to old.windows, but Accounts only shows the old name, and it's Admin so I can't removed it, what a mess, it seems the only way I can restore my settings etc is to copy everything from the old custom to my new custom, or try to change back the old name of of the user folder in Safemode, but would that even work? What a royal PITA, is there anything else I can do? Should I avoid future 10 updates? The last one didn't screw things up like this one did.
Thanks for any help or suggestions.

    :)

  3. IE11 normal Cookies are gone since Creators Fall Update

There are absolutely NOTHING in that folder!

Did you do a Clean Install of the Fall Creators Update?

Perhaps then there are some contents in that folder.

I think all we others here that are missing our Cookies, all have Updated to Fall Creators Update on Top of older versions, and then your suggested folder are empty.

Fall Creator Update screwed up, settings and all appdata etc.

When "roll back" to your previous build of Windows, you are only asked to delete any account if you created a new account
for you self. If you did not create any new account in the new installed build - there is nothing to delete!

You should NEVER delete your Admin account! That will lock you out in doing any admin work after you go back to your
    previous build.

(If you have an Microsoft account - use outlook.com for mail - then your Microsoft account will have your Windows Key stored.)
