Windows 10: Fallout 3 steam

    Fallout 3 steam


    I just finish playing fallout 4 on pc with Windows10. I want to start a game of Fallout3, but it's not letting me in the game or it's making an error... Troubleshooting it brought me here with the hope of getting a driver for windows live to fix the problem... Where can I find it or how can I fix the problem?

    fallout 3

    Trying to play fallout 3 on steam. I get this error message " the ordinal 43 could not be located in the dynamic link library c:/windows/system32\xlive.dill."

    All research I have done on the matter seems to suggest this is an issue with Games for Windows Live. Have tried uninstalling and reinstalling, repairing, everything I can find. Please help.

    I bought Fallout 3 goty on steam and am having massive difficulty getting it to work right, any advice?

    fallout 3 for windows 10

    I am using Windows 10 pro 64 bit and Steam, I was able to get Fallout 3 to work by doing the following.

    navigate to the following folder:

    For 64 bit: "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Fallout 3 goty\Fallout3.exe"

    For 32 bit: "C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\Fallout 3 goty\Fallout3.exe"

    right click and go to properties, compatibility tab and set it to run in compatibility mode for Windows Xp.

    You might have to try different versions, some things will run using SP 2 but not SP 1 or 3.

    This fix should work for Windows 8 and 8.1 as well.
