    Fallout76 disk space not returned on uninstall


    Hi there everyone. Sorry if this has been asked/answered before.


    So i've uninstalled FO76 from my C: today, and the 90gb it took up hasn't become free again. There are no FO files remaining that I can find, and adding up the C: usage doesn't match up with the remaining space it shows. I really don't know enough about this kind of thing to know where to look or what to do to get it back! Fallout76 disk space not returned on uninstall :D

    Windows Store games occupying hard disk space even after uninstalling

    Hi Arpan,

    This issue normally happens if something went wrong on the uninstalling process.

    We suggest that you perform a Disk Cleanup as your workaround this time.

    Please follow the step below:

    • Go to File Explorer.
    • Click This PC.
    • Right click Local Disk.
    • Choose Properties.
    • Click Disk Cleanup.

    Low Disk Space error

    Hi,

    I suggest you to delete the unwanted applications or games installed on the device and also perform a Disk Cleanup.

    In order to delete the games or applications, which has been downloaded from the Windows Store you need to right click on the game and select
    Uninstall option from the Start menu.

    If the games that you are downloaded are .exe or the applications which are not downloaded from the Windows Store, you may try deleting it from the Control panel.

    To do so, please follow the below steps.

    • Right Click on Start Menu.
    • Open Control Panel.
    • Click Programs.
    • Click Programs and Features.
    • Click on the programs that you would like to uninstall.
    I suggest you to try the steps in the following article to free up space and check if it helps.
