Windows 10: False Name Change?

I have recently been trying to change all my usernames to one set IGN so friends cannot get confused. When I had gone to change my XBox username, it had already said that I had used my name change. I have no recollection of changing my username nor having to change it at the beginning. I understand that they do assign a username to you, however I do remember having to either keep that one or type in something else (Which in no way should be considered a name change as it had been brought up as soon as I had launched the app). Is there anyway to fix this or am I going to have to buy a name change?

If you desire a name change please do the following:

• Ask yourself if you really need a name change.
• Make sure you have a good reason.
• Know what you want your new name to be before you request a name change.
• Send Urlyin a PM containing a decent explanation of your reason as well as your desired name.

We appreciate you getting back to us. To change the cmd name, we suggest that you follow this steps:

• Open a Command Prompt (Adimin) window: Win+X, A, Alt+Y
• Then run the following command to change your computer name to Donner: WMIC ComputerSystem where Name=COMPUTER-NAME call Rename Name=NewName
• Reboot your PC.
• Try to run ipconfig / all command, you should find that the Host Name in Windows IP Configuration list has been changed to the new name.
